Planning expertise built from the inside.

Our mission

To help growing consumer brands turn their data into better planning decisions, so the right product is in stock and less cash sits in inventory that isn't selling.

Many companies reach a point where the business outgrows its planning. Forecasts live in spreadsheets, inventory calls are made on instinct, and cash builds up in the wrong products while best-sellers run out. Newtown Analytics exists to close that gap. We bring the discipline of a large-company planning function to businesses that aren't ready to build one.

A forecast is only useful if someone acts on it. So our work goes past models and dashboards to the decisions behind them: what to buy, how much to hold, when to reorder, and where the next dollar of working capital should go.

  1. 01

    Decisions, not dashboards

Every analysis ends with a clear recommendation and the trade-offs behind it.

  2. 02

    Practical over perfect

Tools and processes sized to your team, your data and your stage of growth.

  3. 03

    Capability that stays

We build models and routines your team can run after the engagement ends.

The experience behind the work

Newtown Analytics is led by a planning and analytics professional with more than 20 years inside global luxury and prestige beauty companies. That career covers forecasting, international finance, internal audit, demand planning and strategic planning, including leading monthly S&OP processes and owning demand plans of $150M to $250M a year. It's why we treat planning problems as business problems, not just technical ones.

Newtown Analytics is an independent advisory practice. It is not affiliated with, and its work does not reflect confidential information from, any current or former employer or client.

Philosophy

Planning problems rarely show up where they start. A stockout on a hero product, an unexpected markdown, a cash crunch before a launch — these are usually downstream of a forecasting assumption, an inventory rule, or a planning process that hasn't kept up with the business. Newtown Analytics is built around finding that root cause and fixing it, rather than reporting on the symptom.

Why Newtown Analytics

Growing consumer, luxury, and beauty companies often reach a point where spreadsheets and instinct are no longer enough, but a large internal planning organization isn't the right next step either. Newtown Analytics exists for that stage — bringing senior planning and analytics judgment without the overhead of a full department.
